The short version. Install GiftBow, set a price, and it adds a gift-wrap toggle to your storefront. You own your store, your products and every penny of the wrap fee. We do our best to keep the app working; we can't promise it never has a bad day.
The service
GiftBow is an application for OpoShop stores. It adds a gift-wrap toggle and gift-message box to your storefront, creates and maintains one gift-wrap product on your store, and gives you an admin queue of the orders that bought wrapping.
Your store, your money
The gift-wrap fee is charged by your store, through OpoShop's checkout, to your own payment account. GiftBow never holds funds, never processes a payment, and takes no commission. Setting a sensible wrap price, and actually wrapping what you sold, are yours to get right.
What GiftBow may change on your store
Exactly one thing: the gift-wrap product it created for you, and only its price, name and message character limit. GiftBow will not modify, unpublish or delete any other product, and has no code path that can. It never creates, cancels or fulfils orders, and never emails your customers.
Acceptable use
- Don't use GiftBow to collect anything other than a gift message from shoppers.
- Don't advertise wrapping you cannot actually provide.
- Don't attempt to access another store's data, or to probe, scrape or overload the service.
Availability
We aim to keep GiftBow available and correct, but it is provided "as is", without warranty. The storefront widget is deliberately built to fail invisibly: if GiftBow is unreachable your storefront behaves exactly as it did before the app was installed, and no page, cart or checkout is ever blocked by it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Found is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of GiftBow, including lost sales. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Cancelling
Uninstall GiftBow from your OpoShop admin at any time. Your storefront returns to normal immediately. Your settings and queue are retained so a reinstall picks up where you left off; ask us and we'll delete them permanently. The gift-wrap product stays on your store — it's yours, and you can delete it from OpoShop whenever you like.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use GiftBow after a change means you accept it.
